Acadia National Park
If you're here for longer than a weekend, a trip up to Acadia is a MUST. Hike iconic trails, explore Bar Harbor (properly pronounced Bah Hahbah), feast on the best seafood you'll ever taste, and stargaze with uninterrupted views like you've never seen before. Favorites here include Cadillac Mountain, Jordan Pond, Thunder Hole, Sand Beach, and the many lighthouses you'll find around Mount Desert Island. Our favorite apple picking spot! Enjoy great food, hard cider on tap, and of course, fresh apples that you can pick yourself!

Kancamagus Highway
Buckle up for a road trip along New Hampshire's most beautiful highway, Route 112. With scenic lookouts, beautiful trails, and picturesque covered bridges along the way, you'll certainly need to bring your camera for the ride here! We recommend starting your journey in Lincoln, and ending in Conway.
Lake Winnipesaukee
The Lakes Region is a staple of New England. The largest of these lakes is Lake Winnipesaukee, a whopping 20.7 miles long! Activities here include boating, fishing, zip-lining, hiking around various mountains nearby, and exploring local eateries. Minute Man National Historical Park
Go back in time and revisit history with a trip to Minute Man National Historical Park! This park offers guided tours, scenic views, and reenactments at the site where the Revolutionary War began.
The Mount Washington Cog Railway
Climb to the peak of the 2nd tallest mountain east of the Mississippi on this historic railway! Not recommended for those with a fear of heights.
Old Orchard Beach
A must for seafood lovers. The iconic pier closes in the fall, but many shops and seafood restaurants are open year round! This is one of our favorite spots for a weekend getaway.
Salem Witch Museum
What would spooky season in New England be without a little witchcraft? Visit the Salem Witch Museum to dive into the chilling history of the Salem Witch Trials. Taking the train into Salem is recommended, as parking spaces can be limited in October.
York / Nubble Lighthouse
Southeastern Maine is the perfect spot for a mix of fantastic seafood and incredible ocean views. Visit Nubble Lighthouse to see one of the most photographed spots in New England!
