Perhaps it should have been a sign, jokingly singing a song from the movie Grease (her favorite) while walking to their cars the night they met. Their friends had been trying to set them up for a while, but neither was interested in the idea of being set up. Fast forward to wedding festivities for said friends, and it was kismet. She had never laughed so hard, and he wanted to keep making her smile. On their first official date he took her to Living Treasures zoo fulfilling a lifelong dream of interacting with giraffes, and so their journey began...

After three years of traveling the world together and snuggling with their cats, he got down on one knee. At Ohiopyle State Park, on top of Cucumber Falls, he said he wanted to spend this life with her and she said, "Of course!"

After a COVID postponement, location change, and additional date change, they are finally making it to the altar! The intent was to be married standing with those same giraffes they met 5 years prior, but instead they will say their vows in front of family and friends at Lehigh Valley Zoo in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania.
