we're getting married (...again!)

Amanda & Marc met at The Junction in South Boston (RIP) - they were both out with friends & one of Marc's friends bought shots for everyone (I think the only time in our lives Amanda would be grateful for a shot). They spent the night chatting at the bar, and at the end of the night, Marc really knew how to leave a lasting impression... late night pizza from McGoos! They had our first date the next week.

Marc quickly asked Amanda out on a date, but with our busy work schedules, Valentine's Day ended up being the only night they were both free. Because it was such a busy night in the city, they met for drinks back at The Junction again and closed the bar down getting to know each other! They've been together ever since.

Although many were sad to hear that the epic Marine Road era was coming to an end (Marc's apartment where many of his friends lived or stayed at one point or another), Amanda and Marc were so excited to finally move into their first apartment together in Southie. Po was also very excited to finally have some male energy in the house.

Marc tricked Amanda by proposing the week before their three year dating anniversary. Marc set Amanda off his trail with fake dinner plans with friends. They were walking "to dinner" when Marc suggested they walk down the center of Commonwealth Avenue because it was so pretty at night (that should have tipped her off). Even though Amanda was rushing Marc because it was snowing & they were running late for their fake reservation, Marc slowed her down, got down on one knee, and popped the big question!

Amanda & Marc knew they were so ready to make the commitment to one another, so they had an intimate ceremony in the same exact place where Marc proposed just over a month prior. While they were ready to start their lives together quickly, Amanda and Marc couldn't imagine not celebrating with all of their loved ones, with a big party of course!
