Travel between Seattle and Leavenworth
There are two main routes for reaching Leavenworth and Sleeping Lady from Seattle. Drew is inclined to recommend that you take I-90. The alternative is that you take Highway 2. I-90 is easy to reach from Seattle and the route is easy to follow assuming you are using Google or Apple Maps. Itʻs half interstate, very scenic, and you will see a lot. Itʻs also probably quicker and safer. Hwy 2 is 2 lane all the way, and it is also scenic, but there is a lot of construction. As of 9/13/17 there are two active road paving projects that create significant delays.
