On March 11th, 2023, Taylor and Drew spotted each other at The Players Championship golf tournament, in Jacksonville, FL. They recognized each other from college and immediately felt like they had known each other for a lifetime. The two were nearly inseparable the rest of the night and were eager to see each other again. From there, they dated long distance, Taylor in Tampa and Drew in Tallahassee. God then opened an opportunity for them to begin their life together in Taylor's hometown, Orlando. A few months later, Drew proposed in beautiful Santa Barbara, California.

This destination is more than just a venue. At 23 years old, Taylor began assisting her boss in his efforts to redevelop the former iconic Colony Resort and Tennis Club, on Longboat Key. She was involved in the early planning years, witnessed site demolition, and experienced the vision come to life. Little did she know back in 2015, this would one day be where she would say "I do" to her soulmate, surrounded by their favorite people.
