Chloe and Drew have a story that goes way back. Waaay back. Like before Drew even set himself on the path to growing long and luscious locks kind of way back. The first time Chloe noticed Drew was when he was playing guitar for the youth worship band with Justin Bieber hair and glasses. Although she never would have admitted it, she may have found him a little cute. Drew first noticed Chloe on a fateful evening playing computer games with Chloe's brother at her house. She had just come home from somewhere, grabbed food, and wandered back to her room. In that moment Drew had realized that Chloe was the one he'd been waiting for. The pursuit began. It started by keeping his eyes peeled for Chloe when he would go over to her brother's house to hangout. Likewise, she would be sure to look good on those nights and invent excuses to venture to the kitchen. Slowly and surely, a romance budded between the two. While this young love was sweet and exciting, Chloe and Drew realized they were not yet ready to foster a Chloe-and-Drew relationship. They broke it off in 2016 after three months of official dating. Two years passed, filled with hard times, wrestling, and learning. They grew closer to Jesus and changed greatly by the grace of God. Eventually, they became friends again, and finally, at the end of their senior year of high school, they decided to hash out what had happened over the years. The verdict of this 3-hour long conversation was that they would give it a try. And in true Mullen fashion Drew told Chloe "Welp, we've only got two options, we'll either get married or we'll break up." After loving and serving one another from across the country for two years Chloe and Drew have overcome obstacles and emerged as a team excited to pursue the Lord as one.
