Flying into Reno/Tahoe International Airport

The Reno Tahoe Airport is by far the most convenient for those traveling from afar. A short 45 minute drive will get you to the Resort at Squaw Creek, where we have set up a room block. Uber and Lyft are readily available from the airport or you can rent a car and enjoy the scenic drive to Tahoe!

Flying into San Francisco International Airport

The biggest airport close to Lake Tahoe is San Francisco, the ninth largest airport in the country. There are plenty of direct flights across the country. But your tradeoff is an (at least) 3.5 hour drive from the airport to Lake Tahoe (could be longer if you hit rush hour in the Bay Area or decide to make the drive up on Friday afternoon). Our suggestion: Fly to San Francisco if you want to make a longer trip out of your visit. Napa Valley, the entire Bay Area and the Pacific Coast Highway are all doable in combination with Tahoe. If you have an extra day on either end, this is a great option. We’d discourage you, however, to try to fly into San Francisco on Friday and drive up in the afternoon. It can get very busy.
