Both the ceremony and the reception will be at The Barn at the Ackerhurst Dairy Farm in Bennington, Nebraska. The address is 15220 Military Rd, Bennington, NE 68007. The ceremony will be held at 5pm on July 20, 2024. This will be followed by cocktail hour in the milking parlor from 5:30-6:15. Then, it's time to eat! The reception will be held in the Hayrack Room in The Barn and will continue all night!
The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) while the reception will be indoors. The cocktail hour will be indoor and on a shaded patio outdoors!
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
We recommend that you arrive a half hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. If there is a plus one listed on your invitation, then you can definitely invite a date! If there is not a plus one listed then we will not be able to accommodate a date.
We will have a hotel block reserved at Fairfield Northwest for those attending from out of town. The address is 7101 N 102nd Cir, Omaha, NE 68122. When reserving, please notify the staff that you are part of The Drakes Wedding block of rooms to get a special rate. Please reserve at your earliest convenience!
There is a large parking lot at the venue for guests to park if you are driving yourself. We will have a shuttle running from the Fairfield Northwest Hotel to the ceremony starting at 4:00 p.m. (ceremony starts at 5:00 p.m.). We will also have a shuttle back to the hotel starting around 8:00 p.m. following the reception. Ubers will also be available in the area if needed.
