We met on a dating app! Thankfully, Hannah had included a group photo with a mutual friend that Drake knew from church. That made the first connection super easy, and we had our first date at Eno's Pizza in Dallas on July 2nd, 2022. This was the first of our "2nd"s :)

Drake had planned a fun double date of hiking at Eisenhower State Park with best man Drew and his wife Alanna. We all stopped for lunch and shopping in Denison, TX, on the way, where Drake did an incredible job hiding his nerves from Hannah! We made it to the State Park and the very first lookout on the hike was absolutely beautiful, overlooking the water (reminding Hannah a lot of her northern MN landscape). Right there, Drake told Hannah how he planned to cherish and love her for the rest of his life, and asked her to be his wife. Of course, she said YES! on September 2nd, 2023. This was the second of our "2nd"s!
