The Doves

Out of all the nights to meet, we found each other at Black History Trivia Night. The event was held in Pearson Dorm right outside Gaalon's room. While Anthony walked over from Walker, the two had no idea what the night had in store for them. They ended up on the same team as Anthony's sister and friend and quickly realized they should have studied a little more! After a total defeat the group of losers went off to 4th Supper. Just like in the movies Gaalon and Anthony began walking and talking together, gradually getting to know each other with every passing step toward the cafeteria. As they ate the underwhelming breakfast for dinner Newberry College offered, they started to grow even more interested in each other. Once the group finished eating, Gaalon and Anthony walked ahead of the group chatting and finally exchanging information and a small hug at the end of the night. Now this is where you think the handsome man walks the young lady back to her room for a kiss goodnight to where she wakes in the morning with a cute good morning text, and in that you would be wrong! Not to worry, the two eventually started texting and had their first date to see the movie Onward on a double date. With an amazing night passing the two began to grow closer and closer. These two enjoyed their time together during the beginning of covid and once it began ramping up and classes moved to virtual, their time together grew and so did their relationship. After a few weeks of puppy love growing the two became Boyfriend and Girlfriend on March 16th, 2020.
