Cassidy and Jeremy's story began with the beautiful game of soccer - not surprising to most of you. This started back in high school but it really evolved during the winter of 2020-2021. Jeremy came home from Dayton and asked Cassidy if she had a team he could play on. During this time they played together which led to Jeremy asking Cassidy out to coffee. The idea of coffee, Cassidy was assured, was not a date. It was all about their faith journey's and how God has worked in each of their lives. Jeremy was eager to connect with Cassidy to create a faith-based friendship near home as he was planning to return after graduation. Fast forward to their coffee get-together (not a date mom lol). They talked and talked about anything and everything except for their relationship with the Lord. This was realized after parting, and a text was sent soon after with a laugh and a plan to meet again to speak about what they were supposed to the first time. Whew, second coffee get-together felt a little bit different. Jeremy and Cassidy were vulnerable and real with each other about their faith. After this long and awesome talk, they decided to go on an actual date. This one date turned into many. On February 13th, 2021 Jeremy surprised Cassidy at home a day early and brought her flowers and Chick-Fil-A. He then proceeded to ask her to be his girlfriend to make it officially official. And how could Cassidy possibly say no to that? Looking into their time since then, they have been on vacations together and with family going on lots of adventures. They have shared a number of silly, fun, and romantic dates that included all the popcorn, laughs, drinks, and good talks. Jeremy was ready to lock her in. He met with her parents, asking for their blessing and he proposed to Cassidy on August 27th, 2022 by sending her on this romcom style day. From getting her nails done, to going to where they had their first date, to shopping and getting hair done and ending at the park. It was truly a dream. Each and every day, Jeremy and Cassidy fall deeper and deeper in love with each other. The two are beyond excited to continue growing and doing life together as husband and wife.
