Is there parking at or near Poogan’s Smokehouse (Welcome Party Venue)?

Answer

Concord Cumberland Parking Garage at 1 Cumberland Street is located directly behind Poogan’s Smokehouse (2min walk).

Is there parking at or near the William Aiken House?

Answer

Located just around the corner from the William Aiken House (under 5min walk) is a covered garage called the Visitors Center Parking Garage located at: 63 Mary St, Charleston, SC 29403. There is a service lot across the street from it as well. There is no parking on William Aiken House property.

Is the ceremony and/or reception indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors. Cocktail hour will be held indoors on the 2nd floor and on the piazza. Dinner and dancing will be under tents outdoors. As it can still get a bit cool when the sun goes down in Charleston this time of year, the tents will be heated and we will have a limited number of blankets/shoulder wraps available should you desire a little extra warmth. We do have an inclement weather plan for the day should we need to call an audible. Praying we won’t! :-)

Where will guests enter the William Aiken House?

Answer

Guests will enter through the iron gate door located on King Street (as seen pictured above).
