FYI!

The wedding ceremony and reception will be walkable from the Sydney CBD. (Central Business District) Australian for “Downtown.” We will NOT be securing room blocks based on everyone’s travel itineraries. AMERICANS (pronounced: AH-MER-UH-CANS) the CBD Marriotts, Hyatts and Hilton are all good options - if you have points, you’ll be happy using them. The Sydney Harbour Marriott at Circular Quay is the easiest if you plan to use public transportation - there’s lightrail (around the city) trains (all the way to the Blue Mountains) and ferries to the zoo and burbs within steps of the Marriott. You are also welcome to stay outside the city at any of Sydney’s famous beaches. The easiest would be Manly, with constant ferry service to the CBD. It will be summertime! There are direct flights from LAX, Houston and Vancouver to Sydney. We are getting married on a Thursday hoping the Americans can get in the weekend before and adjust and then let you explore over the following weekend!
