Middlebury's town center is very fun to walk around with great restaurants and shops to explore. Otter Creek runs through the middle of town, with a nice waterfall that you can walk over or sit by.

Shelburne Museum is a great place to view some art and architecture. Over 150,000 works are exhibited in 39 exhibition buildings, 25 of which are historic and were relocated to the museum grounds. It is located on 45 acres near Lake Champlain.

In the Schatz Family's backyard is one of our favorite hiking trails with a spectacular payoff at the top. It is a family-friendly, but still challenging, 4 mile round-trip hike.

A beautiful park at the edge of Lake Champlain in Burlington with a nice boardwalk that transitions into one of our favorite recreational paths for walking and biking. Make sure to stop by Burlington Bay for an ice cream cone (aka "Creemee")!
