It was July 30th, a Tuesday morning spent camping in peninsula state park, door county, when my future changed. Cody and I are watching the sunrise from Eagle Tower look out with our friends. I’m wearing pajamas, half asleep and half listening to how much Cody loves me, and will always love me, when he proposes. I was in complete shock, I was stunned staring down at the man of my dreams, with a ring of my dreams. We spent the morning drinking champagne on the beach and celebrating our next big adventure. Fast forward, Cody and I run off and elope on the morning of October 18th at the clerks office in Stowe, Vermont. It was a beautiful fall setting that only the two of us had known about. We wanted to embrace the intimate intention of a wedding ceremony. In forming a marital union, two people become something greater than they once were. We explored, we ate, we laughed, and we read our vows next to a waterfall celebrating the something greater we have now become. The next chapter is about all our firsts as a married couple and enjoying everything that is headed our way!
