Our RSVP cut off date is 31 July 2023. Please note that no RSVP's can be accepted after the 31st of July and then the bridal couple will accept and respect that the guests that have not RSVP'ed will not be joining the celebrations and provision for these guests won't be made.

When is the cut off date for payments on accommodation at Florence Guest Farm?

Our final date for confirmation on accommodation as well as payment thereof will be 1 September 2023. Please do note that this is ONLY for guests staying at Florence Guest Farm, if you decide to stay anywhere else, kindly do note that the bridal couple will not be handling bookings on your behalf. IMPORTANT: Please check in with the bridal couple BEFORE payment to confirm which accommodation type you want based on what the venue has available as well as the amount of people/kids. Which venue will the ceremony be held at?

Answer

If weather permits, the Forest Chapel (down the road from Florence Guest Farm) Please do note that you can't walk from the Reception area to the Forest chapel. The forest chapel is on the left before you get to the gates of Florence Guest Farm. Signage for the guests will be provided. In the event where weather does not permit the couple from getting married at the Forest Chapel, they will get married in the Chapel. Details will follow if and need be.

Can I bring along a plus one?

By no means are "extra" guests allowed please. All guests have been hand picked to join us in celebration and we kindly do ask that our wishes with regards are respected. All guests have been invited by name. Please do not invite your own guests on behalf of the bridal couple.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is strictly formal The venue is in Chrissiesmeer, which is a bit warmer than GP, but please do make provision for any warm items you might need.

If anyone does want to spoil the wedding couple, blessings for their new life together will be very much appreciated.

There will be a harvest table setup before the reception and the food at the reception will be served buffet style. If there is any allergies or dietary restrictions the bridal couple needs to be aware of, please do get into contact with them in advance.

Can own food and drinks be taken onto the property?

Answer

The guests are more than welcome to bring own food and drinks for the ROOMS only for consumption during your stay. Please note that no food and drinks can be taken into the venue. It is not a bring your own dop and chop wedding.

Where is Florence Guest Farm situated?

Answer

Chrissiesmeer, Mpumalanga It is highly recommended to book at least 1 nights accommodation (night of the wedding) either at Florence Guest Farm or surrounding areas. If you won't be staying on the venue's itself, please book your accommodation in advance.

Is the venue child friendly?

Answer

Please note that the venue is situated on a very big farm with a dam. No provision for baby sitters will be made by the bridal couple and it is each parent's responsibility to look after their own child should they want to bring the kids along. We will make up a "kiddies" corner for the younger ones but no additional entertainment will be made available on the day of the wedding to keep them entertained. If your child gets bored quickly, please do bring along items that will keep them busy.
