Like every good love story, the two met totally on accident! Kirstanna, the brides older cousin and matron of honor, introduced the pair as they were all to attend Warped Tour 2018 on July 18. Steven recalls meeting the bride and immediately took a liking. Steven knew he was interested the moment Kate asked, “did you want my other sausage McMuffin?” Throughout the day, the two were with eachother watching every band play. When the group split up, the pair would go off together and watch shows or walk around. A moment Steven and Kate will never forget that day is when the song Say You Like Me by We The Kings played. After going back to the house, they stayed up and talked all night. They walked around Amherst, Ohio. After that night, the two were inseparable. They would spend the rest of the day after their shifts into the early morning together for weeks. The two made their relationship official on August 4, 2018.
