The Beginning, E and I met early January 2019 thru mutual friends. He was so sure of his self, running game like “Gurl, you may not give your number yet, but this cowboy you will never forget.” He always has to rhyme; needless to say he was right. We crossed each other’s paths a few more times, still playing the cat and mouse game. Until one day we were in the same place yet again. Yet, this time the tone of the conversation changed. In that moment I was able to see how caring and compassionate he was. Now if you heard his version it would go a little something like this...... “Look here, this dog-gone girl kept me waiting for dog-gone 3 months. This Heffa was playing hard to get on ole Hotsauce. O, but she gave in! She couldn’t resist this here cowboy. You see, one day she caught me off guard and seen me without my breeches, I was in my Basketball shorts with a fresh haircut and hell after that it was a wrap. Next thing I know, she had slid into my DM.” Now, the man kept shooting his little shots, I was single and so was he! I felt like this time I make it a little easier for him; so yeah I slid into his DM! Plus, each time I seen him he was cowboy-down to the spurs on his Boots, Pearls snap shirt and Wrangler jeans honey! So to see him relaxed and in loungewear was different. So yeah I hollered. His version would sound a little like this…“Yeah, you see country men are winning! See what she was thinking was the world about to end cause of covid 19. She needs a country man that is going to get out there and kill something, and be there to love and protect her. Then see she ate some of this good ole Louisiana GROCERIES smothered in gravy, and was coming to visit me all the time.” Yes… yes I was and yes this man can throw down! But honestly we are thankful for how our journey started. Yes the world was shut down but our hearts wasn’t. We have grown a lot individually and together and we are both ready to spend the rest of our lives TOGETHER!!!!!
