FAQs

Question

Who's invited to the welcome party?

Answer

Everyone! We know most of you are traveling quite a distance, and can't wait to spend the whole weekend with you all.

Question

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

WELCOME PARTY: It's a clambake, so feel free to be dressy/business casual. Bonus points awarded for preppiness. WEDDING DAY: Black Tie Optional. Weather permitting, the ceremony & cocktail hour will be outside, so please plan accordingly!

Question

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE SERVICE?

Answer

We encourage our guests to stay at the Wequassett or at one of the many rental properties near enough to walk! If you stay farther out, please consider Uber or a taxi to travel safely home after the festivities. There will be transportation to and from the Wequassett for Friday's welcome party - a trolley will pick up a limited number of guests at 5:15PM!

Question

After the Party?

Answer

In the hotel lobby? Not quite, but we may bounce down to the lower level by the firepits for one last Coke & rum. TBD based on current levels of inebriation

Question

Anything planned for Sunday?

Answer

We're leaving you to your own levels of laziness on Sunday. The Wequassett offers a walk-in breakfast or you can check out the coffee shops in our Things to Do section. We'll be wandering the property until about noon for hugs, kisses, and further congratulations!

Question

What else is there to do around town?

Answer

Check out our "Things to Do" section!

Question

Other Q's?

Answer

Ask anyone but the bride and groom! (Just kidding...kind of!) Maid of Honor and supreme wizard of planning Kelly Madigan is our designated answerer of questions (praise be!). Feel free to send her a text: 703-581-7467
