If you have any other questions other than what we've listed here, please reach out and we'll be glad to answer whatever question you may have.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

By May 22nd, 2024 but if you know beforehand, please RSVP as soon as possible.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Semi Casual Attire/Garden Party: Summer or spring dresses, long flowy skirts. Dress pants or khakis and dress shirts. The reception will be outside in a tent so wear something comfortable for that occasion.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors and the reception will be outdoors under a tent.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend all guests arrive 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony start time so you can park and get settled before the proceedings.

Question

What will the timeline be like?

Answer

Ceremony- 4-4:30 Cocktail hour- 5-6 (includes a house tour of Thomas Jefferson's boy hood home) Reception- 6-10

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we would absolutely love for everyone to have a plus one, our venue has a capacity limit. Invitations should specify partners and plus ones so, if one is not listed, we unfortunately will not be able to add another person. We're very sorry- we wish we could have everybody come! We do hope everyone understands this and knows that it is only out of necessity.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If kids are listed on the invitation, they are welcome! As noted above, there is a max amount of people for our reception venue. In a perfect world, we would would everyone there!

Question

Will there be transportation and/ or parking?

Answer

There will not be transportation provided. We recommend carpooling with a friend or uber. Historic tuckahoe is about 35 minutes away from Fairfield which seems far but you will understand when you see how beautiful and perfect the venue is. Parking is available at both Fairfield and Historic Tuckahoe there will be signs to show you where to park and people to help you to get you where you need to be. Golf Carts will be provided at Historic Tuckahoe for elderly and people who need assistance traversing the grounds.
