FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is an adults-only affair. We would like for our wedding to be a break from any parenting duties. Parents/guardians, please make the appropriate arrangements for your children if you are planning to attend.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

We have a strict guest count that we must adhere to. Therefore, only the person(s) listed on the invitation may attend.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP (including meal selection) by December 4th, so we can provide accurate information to the venue. You must RSVP via this website once your invitation is received.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The wedding and reception will take place inside of a climate-controlled facility; no need to fret over rain! In their October 2023 outlook, the NOAA concluded, with 100 percent certainty, that the strengthening El Niño weather pattern will last through early winter. They expect it to bring very rainy conditions to California this winter. We will be monitoring and planning accordingly. Please note that the ceremony will take place in the late afternoon, while the reception will continue well into the evening, when temperatures drop outside. We suggest bringing a coat or wearing layers, as an outdoor sun garden with fire pit and market lights will be accessible to guests (weather-permitting).

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There is plenty of FREE parking at the venue. Please note that parking spaces are atop gravel.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Absolutely! The facility is single-level with even, hard flooring throughout. The parking lot is located directly in front of the venue, separated by a single-step curb. Wheelchair-bound individuals (or anyone with mobility issues) can park or be dropped off at the handicapped parking spots, located on the right side of the venue facade, near the service entrance.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire; suits and gowns are welcome. Please wear your best attire! Please, no jeans or gym shoes. We thank you for not wearing white, ivory, beige, or similar hues.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love for you to take and share photos using “#DnA24”, but please ensure that your devices are on mute. Your use of this hashtag will serve to help us locate and enjoy moments from our wedding that we, and others, may have missed.

Question

Whom should I contact with questions?

Answer

Please feel free to email us at inbox.davisfamily@gmail.com

Question

How will important changes be communicated?

Answer

We will notify you via email of any important changes. If there are any last-minute changes that arise the week of the wedding, we may additionally send out a text message.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course. Please help us get our money’s worth!

Question

What if my mailing address or contact information changes before the wedding?

Answer

If there are any changes to your mailing address or contact info, please let us know by emailing the change(s) to inbox.davisfamily@gmail.com. We will update our records accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:45pm. Give yourself plenty of time, accounting for local traffic conditions.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

We are not registered and are hopeful that you don’t mind contributing directly, in the form of a cash-gift. We will use the gift funds towards our honeymoon. Your contribution will help us to cover activities/experiences, dining, transportation, and lodging costs for our 2-week trip.

Question

Will I miss the big game?

Answer

If you mean the thrilling flag football game in Vegas, then potentially yes. The 2024 NFL Pro Bowl is taking place on the same day. Fortunately, we were able to pick a date that avoids Super Bowl LVIII, NHL All-Star festivities (same weekend though), NBA All-Star weekend, the NBA trade deadline, the UEFA Champion's League round of 16, Lunar New Year, the Grammys, Valentine's Day, Presidents’ Day weekend (for my vacationers), the State of the Union Address, Lent, and Groundhog Day!

For all the days along the way
