Joseph and Kelsey met in Fall of 2018 and out of all places - they met on Facebook. Anyone who knows either of them knows how opinionated both of them can be, Kelsey had posted a status on Facebook and Joseph commented on it to argue with her. A few weeks after the argument Kelsey posted “like for a TBH” on instagram and Joseph took a chance and liked it. Whenever she slid into his messages she brought up the argument on Facebook but ended it with “you’re kinda cute though.” After a few shared messages they realized they had went to the same high school but never actually met, Joseph was two grades above her and they hung out with different crowds. They started hanging out and Kelsey really liked Joseph- but nothing ever came from it. They lost contact shortly after- until Kelsey’s childhood dog ran away and she took to Facebook to share a post asking people to look for him. Joseph messaged her after realizing the road she shared was the road he lived on. They then realized that Kelsey lived on one end of the road and Joseph lived on the other. They started hanging out and even had weekly Thursday morning breakfast together at the Huddle House, it was never serious though as one of Kelsey’s bridesmaids Kayla always tagged along and both of them were seeing other people. Kelsey had made the decision to move for college and live on campus. They ended up losing contact as Kelsey was away until one day Joseph texted her and they caught up like nothing had ever changed. Shortly after this Covid hit and the world shut down so Kelsey had to move home. Joseph knew this was his chance and he went for it. They began hanging out everyday until Joseph finally asked her “will you be my girlfriend?” and the rest was history.
