James and Andrea met when they were both in college at UMass Amherst in Fall 2009. Andrea had seen James around the Franklin dining hall that they both frequented on campus, and she always thought he was so cute! They actually had some friends in common at the time, and they didn't even know it. One magical night at a mutual friend's place in Puffton, James walked through the door with his rowdy crew. Andrea, so surprised and excited that he was there and feeling very bold, went right up to him and said "You're my Franklin guy!" and James was instantly captivated. They danced all night and James asked for Andrea's number. The very next day James asked Andrea out on their first date, and the rest is history! That first year of dating was a wild ride for them, including James visiting Andrea while she was studying abroad in Italy. They graduated together with all of their friends in Spring 2011, and have remained in each other's lives ever since.
After meeting at UMass their Junior year, James ended up visiting Andrea when she studied abroad in Italy that Spring of 2010. Andrea loved showing James around her "home away from home" Siena, and they loved exploring Florence together! They enjoyed their Senior year together with their friends at UMass and anticipated graduation and their lives after with a lot of excitement. They graduated UMass in May of 2011 together, and both started their first jobs right out of college. The years went by and they shared so many exciting times and memories together. They took trips to Newburyport, Cape Cod, San Francisco, Portland, Nashville, and Lake Tahoe, spending time with friends and exploring new cities together. They moved in together in the Summer of 2017, and are currently still living together in Waltham, MA. They love trying out new restaurants together, going for walks, spending time with friends, and playing hours of video and board games. James started a new job in November 2019 and has had some wonderful traveling opportunities. Andrea is currently making her way through Nursing school. They are so excited for their wedding this summer, and cannot wait to buy a house down the road and start their lives together!
