We've rented this entire 33-acre ranch for 5 nights. Feel free to explore their website and get excited! DIRECTIONS AND GATE CODE Gate Code. 5555 Send Directions are on the Puakea Ranch website and on Google maps. 56-2864 Kawaihae-Mahukona Rd. Hawi, HI 96719. Google maps changes the Street name. It is also known to most of us as Hwy 270 and or Akoni Pule Hwy. There is no sign for the ranch and it is very dark at night. We are directly across the road from a gated community with a white fence and guard house. This is NOT us. Turn RIGHT if you are coming from the Airport. We are a 45 min. drive from Kona airport. We are 2 miles south of Hawi town center, between mm 18-19 directly off Hwy 270. 1/10 of mile past mm 18 on the mountain side of the road. Our road is called Puakea Bay Dr. Make a RIGHT TURN coming from the airport. Follow the gravel road around the large tree into the ranch over the cattle guard. James Cottage is the first cottage you will come to once you cross the cattle guard.
