Paco and Ash met at a house party in Austell, GA. A mutual friend (Monica Chambers) introduced them and they just hit it off. Ashli asked Hyon where he was from and he said Las Vegas. Ashli just happened to have on a bejeweled belt with LAS VEGAS across the back. She instantly turned around and bent over to show Hyon how coincidental it was! When Ashli mentioned that she was from PG County, Hyon asked, “Is that near Prince George’s County?” Ashli burst into laughter and said that PG was in fact Prince George’s County, Maryland. They spent the rest of the night talking and laughing.

We had a reception with 75 of our friends and family at a historic house in Riverdale, MD. There were tours of the house given and so many of our nearest and dearest celebrated us through speeches and toasts as we prepared to embark on this new journey together! We officially got married at the courthouse in Upper Marlboro, MD a few days later. Our daughter was present along with Aunt Nita. We closed by enjoying barbecue from Smokey Bones.
