With a wide variety of arcade games, a full bar featuring local beers, drafts, seasonal cocktails, liquor, wine and non-alcoholic beverages, a 7,000 square foot patio with fire pits, outdoor games and live music, a kitchen serving fresh, made-to-order pizzas, soft pretzels and salads – Boxcar has something for everyone!

Duke Chapel has graciously created a custom link to watch the ceremony from wherever you are. https://youtube.com/live/FPlvvSn5xRg?feature=share Our ceremony will take place at the notorious Duke Chapel in the heart of Duke University's campus in Durham. Transportation will be provided for guests from the hotel to the church and from the church to the reception so you can take in all the Durham views and see why we fell in love with the city. Standing in the center of campus, the Chapel was planned first and built last. The architects were Horace Trumbauer and his chief designer, Julian Abele, America’s first black architect of renown. The cornerstone was laid October 1930 and construction of the Chapel required more than 2 years. It was first used at commencement in 1932 and formally dedicated in June 1935.

One of our favorite new activities is traveling to Durham to watch the famous Durham Bulls baseball team crush their competition. The Rickhouse is extra special because cocktail hour boasts views of the original Durham Bulls stadium, made famous by the popular film, Bull Durham. Meal options will be added as we get closer and finalize with the caterer and you'll be able to share any dietary restrictions when invitations are sent out with formal RSVP information.
