Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Katie Pickett and Chase Dickson
Here is a list of some of our favorite spots. One of the best ways to see SF is going on an urban hike through the neighborhoods! Specifically, Pacific Heights, Presidio, Marina, North Beach, Cole Valley, Haight Ashbury, China Town, and more! We would recommend avoiding the Tenderloin and Fisherman's Wharf. Walk down Chestnut St, Union St, Fillmore St, and Polk to find a variety of bars and restaurants!

Ferry Building

San Francisco, CA 94105

The Ferry Building is an iconic building on the water near the Financial District. It's picturesque and features various local restaurants, shops, and other vendors.

Palace of Fine Arts

3601 Lyon Street, San Francisco, CA 94123

The Palace of Fine Arts is located in the Marina, right below the Golden Gate Bridge. It was originally built for the 1915 Panama–Pacific International Exposition to exhibit works of art. Katie and Chase spent many Sundays walking around the palace, coffee in hand.

Lyon Street Steps

San Francisco, CA 94115

Great spot to walk to with incredible views of the bay. At the bottom of the steps is the "school" that was in Princess Diaries

Fort Mason

San Francisco, CA 94109

Fort Mason park was a few blocks away from each apartment Katie and Chase lived in! This was our go-to park for picnic dinners, day parties with friends, and watching the sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge.

Lands End Trail

Lands End Trail, San Francisco, CA 94121

Land's End is a beautiful park with easy hiking trails. It takes you along cliffs above the Pacific Ocean and gives scenic views of the coastline.

Ina Coolbrith Park

Vallejo Street, San Francisco, CA 94133

Grab a coffee on Polk and take a walk to this hidden gem to get some great views of the City!

Saint Frank Coffee

2340 Polk Street, San Francisco, CA 94109

Chase's favorite coffee shop

Arsicault Bakery

397 Arguello Boulevard, San Francisco, CA 94118

2175 Chestnut Street, San Francisco, CA 94123

Casual pizza spot and great for groups.

Radhaus

2 Marina Boulevard, San Francisco, CA 94123

German beerhall and restaurant great for groups. This spot is on the water with direct views of the Golden Gate Bridge. We recommend getting a reservation for larger groups here.

Nopa

560 Divisadero Street, San Francisco, CA 94117

One of our favorite restaurants serving New American food. We recommend getting a reservation in advance to eat here.

AltoVino

1358 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA 94133

Our favorite Italian spot! It's in a quiet location with the cable car passing by right the restaurant. We recommend getting a reservation in advance to eat here.

Dumpling Home

Best Chinese food in SF. Pro tip order the soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings, and garlic green beans! We recommend getting a reservation in advance to eat here.

La Taqueria

2889 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94110

Best Burrito! Creator's of Chipotle were inspired by this burrito! Pro tip order your burrito "dorado style" and they will grill the outside of the tortilla

Dolores Park

19th Street, San Francisco, CA 94114

Mission Dolores Park is a great park to hang out and take in the City views. It's located in the Mission district, which has a large Mexican population and great authentic Mexican eateries.
