2020 was a crazy year for us all-lets admit it. Covid arrived, and lives were quickly being flipped around. Sydney had just recently moved to Dallas to begin her career as an ER nurse, and Lance was travel nursing around the country to areas of need. In the fall of 2020, Dallas became an extreme area of need for nurses- so along Lance went. Lance landed a contract working 5 days a week in the same ER as Sydney. Working along side each other as coworkers, and relying on teamwork to make it through the depths of Covid- Sydney and Lance quickly grew as friends. Sydney even realized how fond she was of Lance, when she realized she was arranging her shifts around his set schedule. Lance and Sydney shared mutual friends at work, and one night they all got together for a night of fun. After spending the day with each other and dancing the night away- Lance finally popped the question (for a date), and the rest is history.
