Our greatest adventure!

I moved to Nashville and we matched on Bumble...for all you old-timers, that is a dating app...at the time I wasn't looking for anything serious (famous last words am I right). We messaged back and forth for a few weeks before we decided to meet up in person. Nick, being the southern gentleman that he is, asked if I wanted to go kayaking....an hour away....in a rural part of Tennessee...and me being me, I said YES! Well after a few conversations with some friends I decided that ya know, maybe we should meet up at a public place first before I just let a stranger drive me to the boonies. So I asked Nick to meet me at a local brewery so I could MAKE SURE he wasn't a murderer first. It was a Wednesday in July and if anyone knows me, they know that my summer shoe choice is most likely chacos, for all you non-outdoorsy people, they're hiking sandals....not the most fashionable but extremely functional. I had picked out a cute blue top to wear with some jeans and I thought "OH my chacos would be perfect with this outfit!!" so I said to my roommate at the time (shoutout to my bridesmaid Sarah!) "Do you think it's okay if I wear chacos on a first date?" and she said "well, its better he knows now." So I did, I wore my chacos to a first date thinking, wellllllp it is best to get it all out on the table now. I show up to the brewery and walk in the doors to find Nick sitting at a high top table...he gets up to great me with a hug like a true gentleman...and he is wearing CHACOS!! At that point I think we both knew this was something special <3
