It can be hot (80's and at times, into the 90's) but cools off at night into the 40's! Bring a sweater or a wrap.
Yes! The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Everline Resort formerly known as Resort at Squaw Creek which is located in Squaw Valley.
It's confusing! Palisades Tahoe is the new name of the ski mountain that used to be called "Squaw" - it just changed last year. The mountain and and area are still often referred to as Squaw Valley, and some local spots still use the name Squaw. To make things even more confusing, the official name of the valley is "Olympic Valley" so you may see that on Google Maps. If you see Palisades, Squaw, or Olympic Valley you're in roughly the right place!
We highly recommend it! If you want to experience all that this beautiful area has to offer, having a car will be helpful. For guests staying at Everline Resort formerly known as Resort at Squaw Creek, self parking is $25/day.
Yes! Please check your RSVP to see the specific timing and transportation for your welcome event on the lake.

UBER is not as readily available as you might find in other cities. We would recommend a rental car for the weekend, and if you would like to arrange rides, we recommend making an advanced reservation. Below are some options: Tahoe Elite - https://tahoeelite.com/reservations/ Tahoe Thunder Taxi - http://www.tahoethundertaxi.com/ Tahoe Sierra Transportation - http://www.tahoesierratransportation.com/
While we adore all your children, we kindly request that the wedding day be reserved for adults and children over 16 years old. Thank you for your understanding!
Our wedding will be a fusion of cultures, so over the course of the weekend expect to see everything from jeans to kurtas to suits for men, and saris to jumpsuits to cocktail dresses for women. If you're looking to buy Indian attire, a couple of online options are Utsav Fashion (more affordable) and Kalki (more expensive). If you're in the NYC / NJ or Bay Area, a quick Google search/reviews can help you find some good quality Indian clothing stores. Additionally, Rent-the-Runway sometimes has Indian lehengas for rental. See the "Schedule" tab for event-specific attire. Remember that it will get a bit chilly in the evenings, so bring an additional layer.
