Natalie is one of Devon's oldest friends, having met in Pre-K at school 54. Growing up, Natalie and Devon were rarely apart, whether playing at each other's houses, traveling to different cities for sports, or on the basketball court together. Even though they went to separate colleges, they were never apart for long between Natalie's visits to Pittsburgh for St. Patricks Day and Devon's trips to Ada throughout the year. Although they live in different cities now, they are still each other's "other half."
Peter Billingham
Best Man
Pete is Matt's oldest friend. They met on the tennis court at 12 years old and have been inseparable ever since. At 18 they left England for college in America and after two years ended up transferring and reuniting at Coastal Carolina where they played on the same team for their Junior & Senior year. Pete and Matt then moved to Florida together to coach for over 7 years. Although they are apart, it doesn't keep them from speaking daily. Pete is now loving life in Malibu, California where he is the women's assistant tennis coach at Pepperdine University. When not on the court, Pete is a trendy guy. He enjoys steak, a good bottle of red wine and loves a coffee.
Laura Savattieri

Laura and Devon met freshman year at Sacred Heart in English class and they have been best friends ever since! Although they have been living in different cities since they left for college, their friendship has never changed! Laura always has a smile on her face and makes any room brighter (and louder). Laura recently got married, accepted a new job, and lives in Boston with her husband. She loves jetsetting around by boat, cooking in with her husband, making frequent trips back to Buffalo, and pretending she's retired.
Trey Hornung

Trey is Devon's older brother. He and Matt met on Christmas when Matt first came home to meet the family. Matt enjoys calling Trey to speak about his investments, budgeting, and technology. Trey is a consultant for Ernst and Young and when they are home together, Trey shows Matt his potential future homes and five year plan (subtly trying to help Matt and Devon create a five year plan). In Trey's extremely limited free time, he enjoys creating spreadsheets, researching cars, attending spin class, and spending time with his husband.
Elizabeth Kiger

Elizabeth (aka Izzy) and Devon met freshman year in college when Devon's roommate, Elise, stormed into Izzy's room and introduced them. Izzy and Devon have been through it all together from trips to Cleveland, Buffalo, Florida, and Lexington, going on a cruise for spring break, running a half-marathon together, and having dance parties in her dorm. Izzy lives in Cleveland with her fiancé Liam and works as a physical therapist. Izzy loves the Browns, drinking beer, and most importantly, her dog Meadow.
Kyle Scarberry

Kyle is Devon's brother-in-law. He and Matt met the first Christmas Matt came home with Devon to meet the family. Kyle and Matt have now started a tradition on Thanksgiving to get Paula's donuts while the rest of the Hornungs run around cooking and cleaning. Kyle is in his fellowship year at Wake Forest University and will be finished by the end of June. In his limited free time, Kyle loves playing video games, dodgeball, sleeping, and looking at Trey's spreadsheets.
Elise Youm

Elise and Devon met freshman year of college when they were randomly paired together as roommates. They were initially unsure how they would get along; however, they became best friends from day 1 and remained roommates until Devon became an RA. They may have been total opposites, but that didn't hinder them from spending each day together in college, going on a cruise, traveling to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip, and visiting each other after college. Elise joined the Peace Corps right after school where she met her husband, Pierre. She now works as a nurse in Philadelphia. Elise loves Philly cheesesteaks, having dance parties, and traveling the world with her husband. Devon could not have picked a better roommate if she tried!
Paul Rock

Paul and Matt met in England on the tennis court at 15 years old. Paul is now the head coach of multiple tennis clubs in London. Paul, Matt and the boys have had countless nights out when they were younger (stories can be told upon request). Even though they live in separate countries they have always kept in close contact. Paul is an Arsenal season ticket, enjoys his holidays and loves a table on a night out.
Mary Henningsgaard

Mary and Devon met junior year of college when they went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. After 9 days together in close quarters, they became inseparable ever since! Whenever Mary and Devon are together, there isn't a moment without laughter! Mary just recently moved to Oregon with her fiancé. She loves attending gatherings with her large family (she's the second youngest of 9!), traveling the world with her fiancé, and working as a physician assistant!
John Karle

John and Matt met junior year of college and played on same tennis team for Coastal Carolina. When John came to visit Matt in Florida, he and Devon became instant friends. John is a loyal friend and one of Matt's few close American friends! He recently moved to Georgia for his job and is now in search of a southern belle. He loves Jonny O, wants to golf at every opportunity and is a big Georgia football fan.
Megan Doran

Megan and Devon met freshman year of college during one of their speech classes. Devon initially didn't like Megan because of her two toned hair color; however, Megan won Devon over in the long run. They were study buddies all through their program and spent many late nights together cramming for exams (and celebrating when they were over!) Megan was there the night Devon met Matt and knew it was going to last! She told Devon, "you're going to love him long time". Megan just bought a house with her husband and accepted an amazing new job. She loves going to orange theory, spending time with her nieces and nephews in Pittsburgh, and exaggerating all of the stories she tells.
Chris Salthouse

Chris and Matt met playing "football" (soccer) in Tampa. He was one of many Brits who came together (somehow) to form the team. Every Sunday, they played their match and then went to Macdintons for an afternoon of post-game refreshments. In the few years Matt has known Chris, they have become great friends. It is very rare Chris is not the life of the party. Chris is a big family guy, loves going home to visit England, going out with friends, and showing off his array of dance moves.
Laura Bredenberg

Laura and Devon met in kindergarten at St. Rose and were in school together until 8th grade. They went their separate ways in high school and college but collided again when Laura moved to Tampa after school! Laura was there the night Devon met Matt and loved him right away when he bought Laura a full pizza after the night out. Laura lives in Tampa and loves dogs, Celine Dion, and traveling the world whenever she can!
