Please RSVP online or contact Darragh or Devon directly. We are not sending formal invitations and will follow up with additional details. An early RSVP would be greatly appreciated, as our venue has limited capacity.

We recommend staying in or close to Westport, Co. Mayo—a charming, walkable town with plenty to offer. We suggest staying close to town if you're not renting a car (within 1 km of Matt Molloy's pub). Be sure to check out our travel section for specific recommendations.

Answer

If you're staying in or close to Westport, you don’t need to rent a car! We’re excited to host our wedding near Westport because it’s a walkable town with plenty to explore on foot, by public transit, or by taxi. However, if you’d like easy access to locations outside of Westport and the surrounding areas (Achill Island, Doolough Valley, etc.), we recommend renting a vehicle or hiring a private driver.

No Ubers here, folks! We recommend booking a day in advance for daytime journeys and the morning of for evening journeys. Restaurants are happy to arrange a taxi for you. Late-night taxis for places further than 10–15 minutes outside Westport can be tricky to come by, so plan ahead.

There will be a shuttle for the reception but not for the ceremony. The reception shuttle will depart from Westport town at 3:45 PM (exact location TBD) and return at 11 PM. If you're not traveling with a car, we recommend booking a taxi a few days in advance for the ceremony.

We absolutely adore little ones, but this is an adult-only event, and unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate plus ones due to venue capacity. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please feel free to contact Devon or Darragh for childcare options in Westport.
