Devin and I had been working together but had never met due to the pandemic. He 'friended' me via social media and we both disagree on who started 'liking' whose photos first. However, we will both agree that after going through every single photo each other had, I (Kerri) was the one who reached out and asked if he was ever going to talk to me (haha). The very definition of our personalities, I was the talker from the beginning. Needless to say, we quickly became friends and the rest is history. I know he would agree with me when saying we both feel lucky to be in love with our best friend <3

Devin and I won a vacation at our work Christmas party in 2021. We decided to go to Charleston in July '22 because it is rich in history (which Devin loves) and I had been wanting to visit for quite some time. That Saturday we had an amazing historical walking tour all through the city of Charleston and I knew we had reservations for dinner that night. Before dinner Devin took me on a walk to a surprise location where I found a private carriage ride waiting for us (I had wanted to take one but didn't think we would have time with our other plans). The 'driver' took us around historical Charleston, stopping abruptly before we reached the horse stables. Devin handed him his phone to capture the moment and proposed right there! #bestweekendever
