He was a loud guy with tall hair who rode around on a long board. She was a quiet girl with a Jesus tattoo who was clueless of his affection. After "thousands" (his words) of attempts to get her attention, he saw an opportunity in the form of an upcoming exam. A few study dates later, Drake and Devin were the couple who rode the longboard together on campus. It was adorable.

Drake planned a fancy surprise date with Devin and her sister, Jodie. Unbeknownst to Devin, Jodie was not in town just to visit, she was there to document the event for the Combas in Maryland. Walking through the Sculpture Garden in City Park, they were taking pictures and goofing around when Drake announces he has to "go grab a prop" (smooth am I right?). Quick aside: if you know Devin, you know she has a thing for marine life and a lovely shell collection. One particular shell is that of a maxima clam that she kept from her reef tank. This was the shell that, if proposed to with the blessing of her parents, would hold her future engagement ring in the hands of the man she loves. Back to the proposal: Drake returns to the scene holding the clam shell! He was beaming as he got on one knee and asked Devin to marry him. Of course she said "yeah"! As they hugged and kissed, the City Park train whistled and the hidden Lambert family cheered. Jodie filmed the whole thing. It was so perfect, so magical, but wait a sec...why did nobody tell us to scoot to literally any other scultpure? Hey, if the hardest thing standing between us is a stone Hercules phallus, we will have a wonderful marriage!
