Walk around, picnic or eat at the restaurant in the park, enjoy Tilgate Lake where you can even do some kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, dinghy sailing or simply rowing a boat. There is also a Go Ape course and golf course.
You can pick your own fresh British strawberries and raspberries, eat at their cafe and tea room, and shop at the cute farm shop for delicious local goodies!
There are some really good country pubs in Crawley and the surrounding area, including the Parsons Pig (they serve delicious Indian food too!), The Hillside Inn, or you could just wonder down the pubs on Crawley High Street to get a real feel for the town (The Old Punch Bowl, Jubilee Oak, White Hart, Octopus Bar, and then go grab a dirty kebab at Troy's!)
If you want to make a great British trip out of your time in England, some other places outside London you could visit around the wedding festivities includes New Forest, Dorset, Cornwall, the Cotswolds, Lake District, and the list can go on and on! In London, there are countless things to do...Buckingham Palace, Tower of London and Tower Bridge etc. and everything else London has to offer, food markets, great restaurants and bars. The last time we were in London we toured the Beefeater gin distillery, checked out the Churchill War Rooms, pottered around Borough Market and Camden Market, and even made it out to eat at the Regency Club (Dev's favourite Indian restaurant ever! Let her know if you have any questions on the menu!). Basically, there are hella things to do, have fun!!!
