When we met: It was 2014, Avi was an intern at Brooklyn Hospital and Destiny was a medical student doing her emergency medicine rotation. They noticed each other while in the emergency department, however did not start dating until 2016. Avi and Destiny bonded over being foodies, enjoying live music, taking care of people, and traveling the world. Destiny's birthday, January 10th, is the anniversary of when they started dating. The proposal: It was June 25th, 2017, Avi's birthday, when Avi proposed to Destiny. They originally set a wedding date for August 2020 however COVID occurred and we all know what happened with that.
