June 2021 Tommy and Desiree had their yearly family summer vacation planned in beautiful Balboa beach. While on vacation Laura (Tommy's mom) thought it would be a great idea to have family pictures taken on the beach since his whole family would be there and Desiree's family were going to be spending the days out there also. The morning of "picture day" it was super gloomy and drizzling and Desiree had texted the Photographer to not come out after all but Tommy insisted on still take the pictures which was surprising to Desiree because he doesn't like taking pictures. So Desiree texted the photographer that pictures were back on. In the afternoon the sun came out and it was the perfect beach day, Desiree and Tommy hung out with the kids at the beach for a little while then came back to the house to shower and get ready. Pam (Desiree's mom) had just arrived and was helping Destiny (Desiree's sister) find parking and showed the Photographer some spots she thought were nice for pictures. When all the family were ready we walked down to where Pam and Destiny were. Tommy then said to Desiree " I have a surprise for you" Desiree was so nervous of what it could be! When Desiree and Tommy were walking up to the beach there was a sign and picnic set up on the beach the sign said "Will you marry me?" Desiree immediately started to cry happy tears and Tommy got down on one knew and pulled out a shell with the most beautiful diamond ring and said "Will you marry me?" Desiree said YES!!! And all the family cheered them on. Now it all made sense why Tommy wanted the family pictures so bad. Tommy, Laura, Destiny, Pam, and the photographer planned the most special proposal of Desiree's and Tommy's life.
