I moved to New Mexico for a job opportunity in 2015, we did long distance for 6 months. This is a photo of Luis visiting me in ABQ. We went on a hike with my dad’s dog, Marshal. Beautiful day!

Here we were five months pregnant with Margot Jane, baby-mooning in New Mexico. On this day we took the tram up Sandia Peak for a beautiful view and mini hike.

January 26, 2024. THE DAY WE GOT MARRIED, legally and privately. ❤️ We got in the car with our two kids, drove down to San Bernardino’s Hall of Records and had a mini ceremony between us.

A very happy and proud day for our family. Luis endured 26 long weeks in the CHP academy and came out alive! Those weeks were some of the hardest for us both, but nothing we couldn’t handle together.

A proud moment. I got to pin Luis’ badge on graduation day. We were both holding back tears. A weight was lifted. I remember repeatedly thinking, “you did it,” hoping he could hear my thoughts.

A vulnerable share. The day Luis got to meet his son for the first time. Sadly, he wasn’t able to be there for the birth of our boy because of the academy. This was an emotional visit.

Spent Earth Day and the remaining week in ATL, GA.

After two 1-bedroom apartments in Riverside (which we loved dearly) We bought our very first home! 🔑 We got the keys on Luis’ birthday in 2021. A momentous day!

Valentine’s Day 2022 (Margot’s 1st birthday) in Lake Arrowhead. We had waffles for breakfast & watched geese through a barred fence. We followed our walking baby through vacant paths & small outlets.

4-14-23 the night Luis proposed. This was after the beautiful mountain-top proposal, we got into the car and immediately took a selfie to document the moment.
