Bradenton Beach is the southernmost city on Anna Maria Island. You’ll find the charming atmosphere of old historic Florida, with friendly locals in every establishment and a rich culture all around you. There are only 1,500 permanent residents in Bradenton Beach, so there will be plenty of room for you on the shorelines. Don’t confuse this city with the nearby Bradenton, which is located in mainland Florida.
Well known as one of the best shopping spots in town, you’ll find Pine Ave on the north end of the island in the town of Anna Maria. This area is easy to reach by the free island trolley, and also offers an assortment of restaurants, such as Pizza Social, Grub Tropical BBW, Poppo’s Taqueria, North Shore Café, and, Lazy Turtle Beach Rentals.
