It has been a LONG time coming!

"In the beautiful hills of Western MD, you find our HVA. You find a school that has an heir to which we loyal say, inspiring us to better live our colors Gold and Blue. We find ourselves to be always trueeeee, to you our Highland View." Best friends growing up, our love stretched thinner than that of the icing on top of a cinnamon roll. Don't be fooled, there is plenty of sweetness, but it lingered more of at the bottom untouched due to the fright of a ruined friendship. It wasn't until the split of 2016 where the phrase "Distance makes the heart grow fonder" whispered its truth in our relationship. In the climb of the 20's when COVID brought light to many peoples eyes, our fatal attraction was ignited by an accidental reunion all the way across the country. On a more serious note. We have loved each other for a very long time. After going back and forth in our relationship for over 5 years, it's one of those things where you just know--this is the person I'm going to spend the rest of my life with. We are the best of friends, and have been with each other through everything that life has thrown at us, or that we've thrown at each other. We hope you have laughed, cried, and been inspired by the love that all of you have watched over the past 10 years. Now, we can all finally sit back and relax because the fight is over, we have won the race. Now to start the rest of our lives.
