Destination Wedding in China!
Yes! We are holding our wedding ceremony in China, in Cheng's home city of Dong Guan. We will be in China from 12/15 - 12/31, so please RSVP with your travel dates so we can help coordinate your travel and plans. Here are some things to keep in mind: - Guangzhou (CAN) and Shenzhen International (SZX) airports are the closest to the venue, and there will most likely be direct shuttle service to/from the venue. We can also arrange for pick-up from the airport for your convenience. - Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) may be the best arrival or departure point for most people as Hong Kong is a predominantly bilingual city (Chinese/English) with an expansive metro, making it easy to navigate and explore. You can travel to Dong Guan by bus or light rail. - Please apply for a Chinese Visa ASAP. We recommend a 10-year multiple entry visa. We can provide an invitation letter - When you are in Mainland, we advise you to purchase the international roaming plan on your cellphone to be able to access services like Google. Local data plans are easily available for purchase, but are subject to Mainland firewall.
