We’re Getting Married

We met at Francis Marion University. Dennis would always ask me if we would have a quiz before this particular class. The answer was always yes. One day before class I wrote my number down on a sheet of paper and gave it to him, and told him now you can text me the night before to ask me about the quiz. From there we went on to become good friends studying, playing basketball and video games with each other. We made it official on 6/3/13.

On Sunday August 30, 2020, Dennis took me on a picnic at the local park. He had fruit, bubbly (Sparkling white grape juice), and gummies to go along with our food. We took turns playing music, laughing and just having a good time. Dennis always told me he was going to give me a candy ring. He gave me a ring pop, I laughed because it was so sweet. I turned around to Dennis being on one knee with a ring. I was speechless and cried. I said yes to the love of my life.
