What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Formal/Black-Tie Optional Attire is Requested. Ladies should look for dresses that are longer, preferably below the knee.. The men should wear suits.. So that you have an idea, Groom and groomsmen will be wearing Tuxedos!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please be sure to arrive to the Venue between 3:30-4 PM the latest. You don't want to miss the best part!

Should women wear heels?

Answer

It is preferred, but is optional. We will be giving out heel caps, prior to the ceremony, so that the ladies don't have to worry about their heels sinking into the sand. Also, the sand is firm and compact, making it easy to walk in. Also, Cocktail hour and Reception will not be in the sand, so you won't have to worry about that.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The Ceremony and the Reception are both located at Amara Cay Resort. Staff and Planner will be guiding all guest to ceremony, cocktail hour and reception!

The Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception will take place outdoors (weather permitting).

What will the weather be like, this time of year?

Answer

This is an oceanfront wedding in January. It is typically on the cooler side with a hint of wind!

Is this a One Day thing or a Weekend thing?

Answer

The Bridal party and Immediate family will be staying at Amara Cay, through the weekend!! We are planning fun events for Saturday and Sunday, and we would love all to take part! Please don't feel obligated to stay at the resort, there are plenty of Hotel & AirBnB/Rental Options in the area!!

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so that you can celebrate with us.

Do I have a Plus One?

Answer

We have been truly blessed to not only have LARGE immediate families, but also extended families and due to the Pandemic we are restricted to a certain amount of guest. So to know whether or not you have a plus one, type in your name into the RSVP Section.. You will either see "Guest" or the name of your significant other. If you have further questions, contact the bride or groom!

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding please let us now as soon as possible, and RSVP "no" so that we can plan accordingly!
