A Texas Wedding

We met at Texas State in a "Health Science class." When he walked in the classroom with his Nike tank top on and I saw his arms, I thought to myself, "Oh Lord, I'm going to look away because he knows he's cute." Well eventually the arms got me! I asked for his number, and after that he was picking me up for class in the morning buying me donut holes from Shipley's every day. We've grown so much together- both as individuals and as a couple. It's a blessing to trust and be trusted, and to love and be loved. Demi Demi and I have crossed paths many times over the years at Texas State. From her attending my Halloween party not knowing who I was and seeing her playing volleyball on my friends Snapchat story. Which led to me ask, “who is that girl?” But I had no way to peruse any of the moments, they would just pass me by. UNITL…. one day I waked into my class… and there she was. She instantly caught my eye. So I made sure to sit behind her in class so that I would always have an eye on her. I didn’t know how she felt about me because she had this very intimidating facial expression. But still I didn’t know when the right moment would come… but I guess she felt the same way because one day there was a group project and she asked me for my number! After that… the rest was history. We went with a couple friends to San Diego just to hang out and have a little vacation. Earlier that day we decided to have a couple drinks and enjoy the day before going on a hike, needless to say I was pretty tired afterward. But I still had the hike… I was a little unsure why everyone was so eager to go hiking but I thought, "ok it'll be nice." Our friends were so nice to me asking me if I wanted coffee, what did I need to feel better, did I want to take a nap, did I want a jacket. I was thinking to my self, wow they must really care about me because they are being so nice to me. Once we were on the cliff I didn't want to pose for a picture, I kept saying no no, finally when I stubbornly turned to take a picture, I turned back around there Chris was on his knee. c: We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
