We met when I was moving into my new apartment and Derrick just so happened to be outside walking his dog. We found each other on Social Media, and met for a glass of wine (two days later). The conversation just seemed to effortlessly flow, as did the wine. It was so refreshing, and we haven’t left each others side since then.

It was a pretty typical Friday afternoon. Demetrius came home from work, and we decided that we’d go to happy hour. I was changing and he appeared to be looking for something in the closet. He called for me to come to him, and he asked "Baby, do you love me? Are you happy? Are you going to marry me one day?" (While still looking into the closet)...all to which, I replied "Yes"... Then he turned around and said "Well, will you?" "... Needless to say, I SAID YES! This love has been life changing and we're so excited to share and celebrate it with the people that mean the most to us!
