Emily and Matt first met at a college party in 2015. While they became friends right from the start, they never imagined, in those beginning moments, that something deeper was taking root. Four years later, their fated paths crossed again at a friend’s Christmas party, where Emily felt a magical spark by the sight of Matt dressed in a charming Santa suit. At the same time, Matt found himself reminiscing about how fun and personable Emily was in college, and he felt drawn to rekindle their relationship.

After an exchange of numbers a few days later, their first date was to the movies to see “Jumanji”. While both Emily and Matt were nervous at first, they soon relaxed after they found each other laughing at the same jokes, and enjoying each other’s company with ease.

Since those beginning days, Matt and Emily have experienced many special times and activities together, such as cooking delicious dinners, hiking in Arizona, skiing (actually, Matt attempting to teach Emily how to stay upright), beach trips to Stone Harbor, raising their adorable puppy, Roxy, and turning their new house into a loving home. Through all of their adventures, Matt has shared that he loves Emily’s fun-loving, driven and caring personality, while Emily has expressed that she adores Matt’s thoughtfulness, his ability to get along with everyone, and his infectious sense of humor. At some point along the way, it occurred to both of them that they had also become best friends.

On August 6th 2022, Matt solidified their future by proposing to Emily at a house on Spring Mill Avenue in Conshohocken, the location of the couple’s first kiss. And the rest…will be history.

We can’t wait to tie the knot on November 4th 2023, amongst our family & friends, all of whom mean so very much to us. We are excited to start our happily ever after!
