Dellise: "We met at work. I didn't know I was meeting a new hire. Everyone at work knows I like to be left alone. I was really annoyed that I was being interrupted...that was until I saw him. After that, I was all smiles, gladly stood to greet him, shook his hand. When he left the office, I told Arlene, damn he's cute, then I looked at his application to see if he was single. Ulises: "I went up to the office to introduce myself. Said hello, had small conversation and left. Walking down from the office, the guy I was with who was introducing me to her said "what do you have in your pants?! - I never get a good morning or even a hello!"

For a year, Uly called me every day around 9, he still says it was "work related" but I was convinced otherwise. He's oblivious, I flirt with him every chance I got. Every time I asked what he was doing for the weekend, he always "had plans." I finally gave up...of course, once I stop asking, he finally invites me to go out. I accepted and we've been together ever since.

February 14, 2019 - I proposed. We had talked marriage a few times and I knew he wanted to do it. Nothing about our relationship was conventional so why not be the one to ask him. I knew how much he hated Valentine's Day but it was the perfect day because he wasn't expecting anything at all - hopefully I've given him a reason to love it.
