What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie. For reference, the groomsmen will be in tuxedos and the bridesmaids will be in long gowns. Dark suits or tuxes for the gentlemen and long gowns or formal cocktail dresses for the ladies. We kindly request no khakis or polos.

Are children invited?

Answer

Except the children in our wedding party, our wedding will be adults only.

Is there parking at the venue? At the Church?

Answer

There is NOT parking at the venue or church. There are three parking garages within walking distance of the venue and church. Court Street Garage, Carroll Creek Garage, and Church Street Garage. There is also street parking. Otherwise, we recommend you use a ride share service. Please be mindful that it’s a Friday afternoon in downtown Frederick and there may be some traffic.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are at different locations, however, both are within walking distance of each other and parking garages. The ceremony will be held at Calvary United Methodist Church. Following the ceremony, the cocktail hour and reception will be held at Citizens Ballroom.
