We will coordinate transportation from the villa to the 1.5 hr tour/wine tasting/lunch at the gorgeous Castello Tricerchi. https://shop.castellotricerchi.com/product/tours/ ITINERARY A one-hour tour through the castle, the cellars, the vineyards, which ends with a Brunello tasting in the historical hall of the guard. The tour starts from the ancient main entrance, to visit the whole castle walls and to reach Baldassare Peruzzi’s bridge, beginning of the sixteenth century, and the Chapel of the Virgin of the Veil which still contains the relic of the fragment of the Virgin’s veil. Central part of the tour are the noble vineyards and the ancient medieval cellars. The visit ends with a guided tasting of Brunello in the hall of the guard, where the visit started. €40 per person includes lunch (children reduced rate for food only at €15 )

Following the ceremony, we will travel to the historic San Galgano for photos. This is our original wedding ceremony site but the Italians take their weddings very seriously and only allow couples to get married once in this beautiful abbey.

Villa Stay/Departure

While our itinerary is still being finalized, but our tentatively travel may include stops in Florence, Bologna (where Michael lived), Venice, Lake Como, and depart from Milan. We also hope to poke around a bit at real estate to determine if an Italian home is in the cards someday (Urbane Home in Tuscany sounds right)! We will provide our final itinerary should anyone wish to tag along!

The more the merrier, should anyone wish to accompany us for our itinerary! 5/21: Roma. We arrive at 8:30 and will have a car pick us up to take us around the sites of Rome for Michaela to see. We will have lunch and head off to the villa. If anyone is flying in that same day in Roma and wish to use the hotel and travel to the villa with us, let us know! 5/24 - 5/26: Firenze - St. Regis 5/26 - 5/27: Venezia - The Gritti Palace 5/27 - 5/29: Lago di Garda - The Grand Hotel Fasano 5/29 - 5/30: Milano - Excelsior Hotel Gallia
