Virginia is for Lovers! Amanda and Steve met while working for Anheuser-Busch in Williamsburg and started dating shortly after (Virginia, 2018)

Amanda and Steve bonded over Gator Football, and followed the Gators to friendly and not so friendly sites. (Peach Bowl, December 2018)

Amanda moved to Atlanta and Steve to St. Louis, but the 2 found every opportunity to spend time together, such as meeting halfway in Nashville, February 2019…

Then Steve and Amanda adopted Willie in Spring of 2021…

Finally, Amanda and Steve got a home together in Atlanta in March 2022 - long distance no longer!

Amanda has been Steve’s biggest supporter at his runs. (Marine Corps 50K, Fall 2023)

And Steve is Amanda’s biggest fan, too. (UF MBA Graduation, December 2023)

Finally it was time for Steve to pop the question. Under the ruse of a DeCanio-only family vacation in Spain, Steve surprised Amanda on a rooftop. (Denia, Spain, November 2023)

Steve was nervous and jet-lagged, and Amanda was very happy.

It was an emotional day, and one of the best parts was sharing the moment with family.
